Hello. I am considering moving to Vallejo from Oakland. The Beverly Hills Park Area ( 94591 Zip Code ).. is the area I'm considering moving to. Can any one tell me how safe this area is? Are there any near by schools that's acceptable? I have a few young children that's getting ready for school in the next couple of years.

Thank you!

I'm not sure how it is now, but when I grew up in Vallejo, it was a slightly dodgy, semi-rural area. My great-aunt lived there, and I remember her home being a one car garage/shot-gun sort of deal (like in some areas of Oakland) and I used to think what a small house she had (we had a 3bd/2ba rancher, LOL).

It certainly wouldn't be a neighborhood I'd be checking for in the "V." I think there are much better ones in central Vallejo and other areas.
