Just got accepted into Cal Poly SLO!
I got in except I am failing my College Algebra course. I already had one math course called Mathematical Ideas, so I am going to see if they will take that and I also told them I'd take Statistics to see if either will meet the requirement. Also I'd have to go another year at community college and do remedial math and then the actual College Algebra. But here's to praying they take what I got!

Congrats, but, that math could hurt you, hire a tutor and, no, you still can't have either daughter's cell number...

Congrats! That's a great school! What will your major be? Definitely hire a tutor ror the math stuff though, my daughter took a Mathamatical Ideas (or something that sounded like that) class but it was wasn't the same as algebra, statistics, etc. But if you have another year you shouldn't worry

Well, I have been out of College Algebra for two days. I am thinking I am going to re apply to Cal Poly SLO in Spring and take College Algebra at Hancock College. You get more academic support there and professors work with you more there.
Of course, this is if Cal Poly SLO doesn't accept my offer to sub Math Ideas for College Algebra. I think they might be equivalent since both are Algebra based. And the required math courses are-College Algebra, Trig, Math Analysis, or Pre-Calculus. Math Analysis I think is the same as Math Ideas.

City and Regional Planning. And thanks for the encouragement. I know if I have to do another year to get that math done, then no problem. I think if I got in now I think I could get in another year too. The school has my major and it's close to home which are good enough reasons for me to only go to this school.
