You going to drive over from MO for a quick soup and salad?

Actually, the more interesting lunch would be you and .highnlite ... a bit hard to manage sandwiches with hockey gloves and goalie masks, but worth every crumb in the lap to watch.

Now when did I ever mentioned I hate government workers. Just because my abrasive, direct and vitriolic style of communication in relation to this topic angers you in no way means I hate government workers in general. You ought to try working on my job site.

I hate the system and people that abuse that system to bleed our State and Country dry. I think it is deplorable that only the non-governmental public should feel the pinch, pain and cut backs. I find it disgusting that certain government unionized workers would allow others in their ranks to be fired rather than take an across the board pay and benefit cut back.

So to recap do I hate government workers in general. No.
Do I hate unionized workers in general. No.

You ought to see discussions at my family get togethers when my LEO/active military brothers, cousins and I start drinking. Not to mention when our local assembly rep and long time family friend attends.

I would have no problem buying you, geo and slomo all lunch. Of course as a business write off.

Of course ... but chummy as we all be getting, may I, nevertheless, suggest neutral territory?

I'm zeroing in on #4 or #5 on the list ...
either place we can discuss the California legislature and budget, get hot under the collars, shout and gesture wildly, and never be thought out of place ...

Nah! I'm quite sure I wouldn't enjoy the company of Little Lord Fauntleroy

anymore in person than I do here.

#5 sounds good. Hard ta beat a good ol' southern boy's cuisine! I'll even buy. No job no write-off, unless I declare it a charitable contribution.
