It's good to mention the generational aspect. My generation, Gen X is the smallest in number and we're right after the boomers. We are likely hopelessly screwed.

The Baby Boom won't last forever, when they die off it
will normalize. All that is needed to make Social Security solvent is to remove the cap on the wage tax so the rich get to pay in

Agreed. Or acquire a marketable skill and get a better job; or simply get a better job. When I worked minimum wage jobs I never cared that the pay was 'low' since I knew I was transitioning through it and that it was not permanent.

[and I wasn't trying to live off of it, either]

minimum wage like rent control needs to be abolished, the effects of these things are counter intuitive to their goals

No joke!, When are you leaving ?, do you need gas money? I personally know many that would be happy to have an $8.00 job right now.

Baby boomers have put the most into Social Security, so they will get the most out of it.

Bus drivers are grossly overpaid due to the influence of the public employee's unions. Market wages for them would be much less.

Your question is meaningless. What you deserve for having a doctor's education is nothing. Credentialism is a fallacy. What matters is value, not education.

That's right, folks. Just hang tight until 2065 and solvency will return. Of course by then there'll be 10.5 billion people on the planet, but...
