1) San Luis Obispo's economy is one of the best in the state.

2)A majority of the county is Republican. SLO and some parts of other cities being the exception.

3)Cal Poly SLO, County of SLO, California Men's Colony Prison, and Pacific Gas and Electric Co. are the largest employers and are doing well in this economy.

Even though most of them are state-funded institutions they still get money because education and housing prisoners is important. People still need energy, so the nuclear power plant is doing good. And the county is hurting, but is doing better than other counties in California. Our county would be considered large by most areas standards with 269,000 population.

Morro Bay would be a really short commute to the Men's Colony and it has lower rents than SLO.

And when normal folks get between those gangs picking on each other? Thanks but no thanks.
