Thank you trixie09 - really appreciate all the info you provided. The SLO area seems very appealing and I have heard from others as well that the SLO country club is a great place to live. And I like that it is close to shopping, etc. We are headed down there in a couple of weeks - can't wait. Will report back on what we think.

good luck in SLO my uncle had a home in Morro Bay and I visited there since the 70s - I am planning on moving to SLO County ASAP !
