As adults we are free to lock our doors or not and will be responsible for any consequence.

Years ago, in Phoenix, our car was stolen off our carport and the first question the insurance and police asked was whether it was locked. Having property stolen is one thing, but for me, my personal safety is most important as I have no weapons and am not as strong as I used to be. At night, or when I see unfamiliar people around, my doors get locked as I am not so foolish as to think there is no such thing as crime. Anyone ever heard of home invasions? Car jackings? They happen everywhere as some people would rather steal than work for a living. On the flip side there are also some real heros in the world and we should be celebrating them instead of focusing on crime.

Based on your comment in my rep you gave me, I don't think you understood my facetiousness in my remark.

Alas, the sophist persists.

And Fontucky, there is a MO forum. It's specifically designed to keep Califoreigners back on the left coast. They locked the gate behind us but for two others who, like us, were properly vetted and had advance reservations.

Dude, look at your posts. You post several times a day and 95% consist of bitching and moaning about California!

You are a real downer! If you are so enamored with the hillbilly land, then stick in the Missouri forum and sing the glories of coon-huntin' there!

HA! I'd rather kill myself then live in the backwards, culture-less, American Taliban neck of the woods that you live in!

bugs, humidity, trees so thick you can't see the forest, but little inkybinky trees. Flat ground, the highest point in the state is 1772 feet above sea level, not even enough to pop your ears. They put sauce on their steak.

The skiing sucks, the surfing really sucks, when the New Madrid fault cuts loose it should knock every trailer in the state off its blocks.

And then there is Branson

Hey highnlite be nice. There is no reason for you to go off like this! What's the matter with you? There's nothing wrong at all with steak sauce!
