^are you asian? LOL

at least they're not like FLA schools good god ours are horrible. Can't believe i survived with my brain and awareness in tact. Even more surprising I haven't been to jail yet and I'm not a drug dealer (2 teachers and a dean were arrested from my high school for selling drugs.)

But yeah it's fairly obvious... CA, and FLA are the two biggest transplant states (well, Hawaii's got to be up there obviously.) But more so being a western state, it was not a part of the original migration of the United States so it's going to have less roots.

Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville are horrible with attendance. A lot of their sales are for the visiting teams. Jacksonville used to have blackout problems but they seemed to rally behind them again when it got bad, Tampa Bay had the most blackouts last year (Every game I think?) People love to go to the beach and get hammered. Lots of idiots in FLA. LA too I presume. I just think FLA people are insane as well to go along with it. Just check out the news. Every crazy story is out of FLA.

Casey Anthony? That kid who murdered his parents because they didn't let him throw a party? LOL

L.A. has fewer California natives than anywhere else in the state. And not just in immigrant neighborhoods either.

Without looking it up, yes that is correct.

California continues to attract tens of thousands of people from around the country annually, but they are offset and exceeded by the number of people who leave CA for other states.

And exceeded far more by the thousands of new natives born every day. In most places now, including California and even Florida, births outpace in-migration. I imagine the percentage of natives is probably higher than when I was born there 50+ years ago. Most of my parents friends were from somewhere else (usually the Midwest), though my parents were also natives. Only one each of my grandparents and great grandparents were natives so transplantation was probably a bigger growth factor 100+ years ago, if I'm typical of the older native.

Oh, come on now...the OP just wants to know why he can't go out on sundays and catch an L.A. pro football game.

I'll tell you that, whatever the reason, its assuredly not because there are too many transplants in L.A. Out of the aproximate 17 mil people in the metro area, there would be at least 80,000 of those willing to fill a stadium every week.

Either way, L.A. already has a football team that gets paid to play every week. Check out the Memorial Coliseum on Saturdays.

Yeah, if that were an issue, the Redskins would hardly be the 4th most profitable sports franchise in the world. I'm sure we have a higher percentage of transplants in the DC area than just about anywhere else in the country.

yeah you caught me, so I thought I'd turn this into another discussion, but anyway, why does L.A. have so many transplanets? for what reasons does it attract so many people from other states? If USC a Pro team then why couldn't they ever relocate like the Rams or Raiders did?

I wouldn't say L.A. has too many more transplants than any other region. Those that do come here come here for work, try to be a star and so forth. No one comes to L.A. because they think it's a nice place to settle down and raise a family.

I never said USC was a pro team, I just said they got paid like a pro team.

Is it true Reggie Bush took a pay cut when he went to the Saints?
