Default cali climate

any places in cali that have palm trees AND decidious trees, for a fall season?
We are looking into several states, and are looking for that particular combo so we will both be happy. So far, north florida, south carolina and virginia beach meet our needs. But cali would be ideal..
Thanks

You are basing where you live on what kind of trees are there? My experience with the central valley is that all kinds of trees grow there but there is so little fall, and winter is so mild that there are still fall colors in January, and some leaves never turn color.

Also, don't use the word "Cali" - it's California :-)..

You know, that's true. Many people outside of California are calling it "Cali" in the posts. Although, sometimes we do use the terms Southern Cal and Northern Cal. And then there's just "Cal" which really means the University of California at Berkeley. . . but I digress

Seriously, Dolphins. Sacramento does have both the tree types you have mentioned, but, unfortunately not exactly New England fall color. However, if you drive east toward Placerville and the gold country, there is plenty of fall color, pumpkin stands, wineries, etc.
