California representing!

California Olympians: Meet The Golden State Olympic Athletes (PHOTOS)
"The 2012 Olympic Games begin with Friday's opening ceremony and saying California will be well-represented is an understatement.

The Golden State is sending the largest percentage of athletes -- almost one-fourth of the entire USA contingent..."

"State sending the most athletes: California is sending 128 athletes, including 24 of the 26 U.S. water polo players and the entire 3-person U.S. badminton team, to the Games. That means roughly a quarter of the entire U.S. Olympic team will be from the Golden State.
New York and Pennsylvania tie for second—both states are sending 35 athletes, while third-place Texas is sending 33."

I bet its a treat for them to visit such a historic & old city & country like england plus the weather is not what they are used to (cold & rainy). Kim Rhodes who practices skeet shooting in redlands won the gold yesterday. I dont really care for the olympics but i do like the scenery in england.
