gods country, hunt, fish, pack into the wilderness, kayak the rivers.

Most people would consider it too isolated. I know a woman mule packer that lives there.

Nah, Happy Camp is too isolated. I've driven through Etna, looked at it on Street View ..... what a perfect little 1950s town, with everything you need .... drugstore, movies, grocery store, Orthodox monastery, hardware store, farm and ranch supply store nearby, nice park, little shoppes .... the only concession to modernity is a microbrewer.
