Huntsman will be out of the race before Thanksgiving so you better get used to that fact.

Getting any GOP candidate will be 1000 times better than Obama. I'm not even sure we won't be in a depression before Obama leaves ...

Everything he has done has resulted in making economic conditions much worse. On top of that he has created a great division between political parties and to the point of violence between union workers and conservatives ... just yesterday Obama spoke at a large teamster union rally and before he stepped on stage the President of the huge teamsters union told the crowd in angry tone that they need to "take out those SOB's" referring to the tea party supporters.

hmmm ... well, tell you what ... I will link now a fascinating look at the Republican strategies and values as presented by a Washington D.C. Republican career insider -- who dislikes and distrusts Obama ... I suspect that few, if any of you on either side of these issues, will read, preferring instead to remain, completely duped, in the world of political soundbites created by partisan think-tanks on respective sides ... the piece is fairly lengthy, covering the subject of "modus operandi" in considerable depth and detail ... I dare any of you, Republican or Democrat, to actually read and consider this picture of your country and its democracy.

True, California will not embrace a Republican, in any case ... read the above and you will have the opportunity to consider whether this is good or bad to be of the California political mentality.

Unfortunately, getting any GOP candidate varies from someone who is sane to someone who is insane.

The GOP voters may elect a GOP that has the Tea Party's best interests, but in the general election the independents will have none of it. And if someone like Palin, Bachmann, or Perry runs against Obama, I'm voting for Obama while holding my nose.

If you don't want some meathead getting to the finish line, then vote in the primaries. Most people don't which is why the better candidate always gets left behind.

The primaries are more important than the general election.

California is to the Democrats what Alabama is to the Republicans. A state that votes primarily on social issues, specifically on the three issues of abortion, same-sex rights, and immigration. Its is pretty much the "anti-South" as in the South primarily votes Republican because of these three issues, Californians vote Democrat because of these same three issues. Because of this, the GOP will never be able to win both California and Alabama. Of course the GOP can put up a fiscal conservative and social liberal candidate and have a shot at California, but at the same time would probably lose many of the Southern states. People forget back in the days California was a red state, the South was far more purple than it is today. Plus, in 1988, the last time California went red, same-sex rights wasn't the huge issue it is today and Southern California outside of Los Angeles was still relatively conservative. Its very likely Orange County will finally go blue in 2012 or 2016.

Would you prefer Ron Paul over Obama?
If you don't like Huntsman I think you'd despise Dr. Paul.

I do not need the government to take care of my family. I do not need to count on lawyers and/or politicians to tell us how to live our life. Why would people let these cronies dupe us into fleecing our wallets and regulate us too much? These people are not in touch with us. Our government and court system has allowed our school kids to be taught that we came from monkeys. Our court system and government has passed laws that 2 men or 2 woman having sex with each other is considered normal and taught in schools that is is normal behavior. Our court system has allowed pornography to be legal. We are being told to tolerate obvious nonsense.

I have supported Obama's projects and ideas, I have nothing but contempt for the Republicans for trashing the projects and ideas, resulting in the trashing of economy and the nation. I am not at all please with Obama's attempts at bipartisanship or his folding on points of principle in an attempt to appease those who would rather destroy the country.

I have no problems with Huntsman at this point. He will not be accepted by the nuts in the Republican party and the nuts rule it these days.
