Plus I think you'd find that Christian conservatives in California are different and not as hard-line as they are in, say, the South.

It's fine to ask questions, even ones that may be considered non-PC, but some of the other posts don't quite jive.

Anyways, OC does have some religious conservatives, but it's also known historically for its libertarian leanings(which are quite opposite modern day social conservative views). Coincidentally, those libertarian views are more in line with basic Christian teachings like Matthew 7:1-2, which some of your other posts show that your understanding of lessons like those might need some work in order to claim what you claim(Matthew 7:3-5 applies).

Ever heard of the Bible Belt of the West?

Runs from Bakersfield to about Stockton/Sacramento-Central Valley to the Gold Country/Central Sierra Nevada. You can't throw a rock without hitting a Christian. Nice area to be a Christian.

As far as politically conservative areas of the state go (I'm not touching religion) the Sierra foothills up to inland parts of far northern California are a safe bet. Shasta County (Redding) has the same percentage of registered voters voting for McCain/Palin in 2008 as places like Wyoming, Utah and Oklahoma (about 70%).

Orange County is the only place I can think of that has a high number of Christian Conservatives.

I'm actually a Crunchy Con with Gothic Tendencies. On that locked thread some folks cast me as a liberal. I do of course believe in classical liberalism. Regarding the comments on that thread about intolerance, I am very, very tolerant. I tolerate all sorts of diversity. But I will not tolerate racial supremacy notions of any sort.
