Leave it to our resident economic whiner to complain about social media.. Really, there is a world out there for young men, I advise them to shut down their computers and get outside!

These things come and go in cycles. Just as Myspace replaced Friendster and Facebook replaced Myspace, a replacement for Facebook is waiting in line. Not mentioned here is Bebo which could be the next big thing on the net. These networks seem to have a peak of between 1 and 3 years or so, so Facebook's time is coming if indeed it hasn't already started to decline permanently.
