I saw a lecture by a guy last year, <Laurence Krauss, discussing the potential role of dark matter in affecting the universe expansion. I was pretty lost the whole time, but it sounds like it was pretty close to what these guys demonstrated.

I have heard it is bad new for Einstein, because the velocities exceed the speed of light.

Heavy stuff....And good for them!
