Does law enforcement & polticians actually read these forms & if yes, do they do action such as obtaining the member or members ip address or what not ? I know msn will not release any private contact info without a signed search warrant. I still think the law needs to chill out esp in beaumont,ca. DONT WORRY....BE HAPPY.

the internet is a great tool for employee screening. it is used extensively.
as to catching thugs, facebook has been used by law enforcement, the list of friends is especially useful.

Because finding a picture of a job candidate having a Guinness at the local pub, or finding they posted an opinion on a forum are both great factors in determining what kind of employee they will be.

It was a simple question. With our rights more & more being stripped away by the govt i was just curious. I know law enforcement troll the net looking to bust people & facebook & myspace is a hot spot for them. I just think their are more important things for our public servants to do.

they may or may not 'troll the net looking to bust people' .... but if they were, they would be looking for people breaking the law.

Are you breaking the law or alerting to the fact that you are on the internet?

If you have nothing to hide, why worry?

I don't give a bees knees about law enforcement reading my posts.

Actually, I do hope they use cute guys to do this. The thought of some pot- bellied, belching, old fart reading my posts is a huge turn off.
