Monterey

It was the first capitol of California under both Spain and Mexico, from 1777 to 1846. California's state constitution was also constructed and signed in Monterey on October 13, 1849.

It's been more than 24 hours since the thread was started and I still find it hilarious that Bakersfield is ranked second behind San Francisco. LOL

LOL No, that's why I find the whole thing hilarious. I only casted one vote for Bakersfield to poke fun at the others who have a dislike for the city.

All kidding aside, my favorite cities to visit would be either San Francisco or San Diego, but the latter gets the slight edge. Monterey is still my favorite city, but I visit it more often than the other two cities.
