The Census data might be out of date already. Where I live in California, I see more and more Arizona, Nevada, and Texas license plates. Many of those that cashed out and sold their homes at the height of the housing bubble are returning.

How do I know? I'm one of them. It's so good to be back in California.

Yes we did. Sold in CA 2006, moved to CO, and returned to CA in 2010.

We did too Charles. Sold in March of 2006 and now we're returning. We'll be back home in Ca in 3 weeks.
