I currently live in California and am studying to be a Medical Office Assistant. The thing is I would like to move after I finish my training but I am not sure where. I would not mind staying in California but I also want to look into places outside of California.
I want a place that is:
affordable
family friendly
low crime rate
available jobs in my field
decent weather
things to do other than shop

If any one can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Wherever you can get a job is your best bet. I'd focus on that more than anything else, administrative work is tough to get these days and often doesn't pay well if you don't have much experience.

First, anywhere in the US is a pretty wide net. I'm afraid you will have to narrow it down if you want real info.

Second, I second Williston, North Dakota.

Finally, I want to point out that an extrodinarly large number of posts by first time posters who rarely come back start with "the things is..." or "the problem is...". I find it curious.

By decent weather I mean that it doesn't reach over 120 degrees during the summer. I don't mind a little cold as long as it isn't below zero. I'm used to it being around 36 degrees in the winter here in my city. I would also like to avoid places with a lot of tornadoes as well.
And by things to do I mean things to do other than shop like parks, hiking, museums, etc.

I have not been able to narrow down any specific places I want to go to besides Colorado Springs, Colorado. I would rather not go to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. I have also looked into Idaho and Washington but Colorado seems to call my attention a little bit more.
Hope that information helps.

CO has one the highest number of thunderstorms. If that not an issue, then CO it is.

Good luck.
