Interviewing for a job in Stockton off of "West March Lane". Not familiar with this area at all. Looking for a nice, small town feel community to reside in. No kids, just me and my hubby. Any truthful suggestions?

That's Stockton's high rent district. I'll keep banging the drum for Linden or Lodi.

What DMenscha said plus Manteca.

Lots of nice areas in Stockton but still more urban that what it appears you requested.

If i was going to be working in Stockton, i would live by Lake Camanche south shore. Camanche: Twice as nice | Recordnet.com

There has always been a permanent RV area where many folks live fulltime or part time. There are stick & bricks homes nearby pretty close to the lake.

I guess it's about 30 miles or more to Stockton. I used to fish thar often & bring our motorhome to camp in...

We have many wonderful memories.
