Really, I have been watching housing in many parts of Southern Ca.....prices are not dropping...............multiple bids on many of the "bargain" properties.

Just a joke, lots of people involved in RE boo-hooing for nothing.

The next election cycle will be interesting because IMO voters will shoot down every measure to raise taxes. The leaders in this state still don’t get it, they’re like meth heads looking to steal stuff off your nightstand and help you look for it.

Actually, I think the leaders in this state DO get it. It is we taxpayers who expect good monetary stewardship who don't get it.

The leaders in this state are completely beholden to their public employee union masters who in turn are like the plant from "Little Shop of Horrors" who constantly scream "FEED ME." They are an insatiable spoiled voting and campaign contribution block who are concerned only with:
  1. Increases in their gold-plated pensions -- pensions which ordinary citizens do not have
  2. Increases in their Cadillac health care -- health care which ordinary citizens do not have

So... it is always:
  1. Reallocate money to feed gold-plated pensions & Cadillac health care for public employee unions
  2. Notice that "gee, there isn't enough money" to pay for education & police after having diverted funds to said gold-plated pensions & Cadillac health care
  3. Tell the public, "We need to raise taxes. If we don't raise taxes, we'll have to cut public safety so gang-bangers will come & rape your wives & daughters, and cut education so your kids will be in classes with 60 students.
  4. Conveniently ignore that there is plenty of money for public safetgy and education if only the money to pay for public safety & education had not been diverted to said gold-plated pensions and Cadillac health care.
  5. Repeat

California is not what it used to be ....

I used to live in the L.A. area ....

Bailed in 1997, now I hang my hat in Florida, and use the extra cash traveling to exotic locales, eating healthy fresh fruit and seafood, swimming in clear blue Lagoons, and dating amazing beautiful unspolied women, never found in the USA. Amerikan women, outside Amerika, are viewed as the worst women in the world ... obese, bossy, crude, manly, loud, etc.

Unless you're a Hilton or a Hearst ... Leave.

Well, Mr. Kurtz, I'm sure the group would be very interested to hear more about these things. But first I must insist you take your medications. It's part of the rules -- and we can't live happy together here without rules, don't you agree?
