OK PLEASE HELP!!

I just read that the Bay Bridge will be closed this weekend, and this was how I was going to get into SF.. I looked at the map and tried to re-route myself and found that if I take 580 to 238W, then down to 880S, then to 92W to the 101N I can get there too... is there maybe a better way??? I also saw that I can just keep going on 580W and then go South on 101 crossing over the bridge, though I saw this way was longer. Which way would be better to take??

PS how much is the toll crossing over the bridges??

Come in from the North. Take the 80 to the 580 to the 101 then head south and come in over the Golden Gate bridge. Stop at the overlook first. I think it's $5 to cross the Golden Gate.

Cool Diego vs. Frisco

Well i live in TX now but I have lived in San Fran (o5)and San Diego (06). To visit either one there is no comparison. They both offer a different kind of fun, excitement, lifestyle and crowd. What mapquest or yahoo maps give you on time it close to being correct. Overall it really depends on how many stops your make and the speed the drive. Two single young girls in San Fran check out the party scene of downtown and/or financial district S.F. Make sure you get flyers from the local bars that seem to open before 4 in the afternoon. Find out what is going on. You can also check out Berkely if you want to hang out with the young college crowd. S.F and other cities in the bay area have 1 thing in common. Every night is not a die-hard party night. Alot of events are done on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weekend of the month. Don't ask why. I really couldnt tell you. There is alot to see, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz (up close or distance), you can check out spoken word, shopping, bars.... when driving the city is 7 by 7 so it is easy to get lost with directions. Onstar or Neverlost will keep you on track. I would advise just hang among the locals ask women only where the hot spots are. If you are a good judge of men ask men to just that you have some a**holes out there that won't give you the truth and try to use "Hey I will show you around" as a way to get um... ********* over...The women there are more honest, helpful and not quick to take advantage of vistors. Also there is Castro District. Plenty of bars and some clubs and eating joint to hang with amongst the rainbow crowd. Upper market is cool to hang and shop, not to party(there is no party scene there) unlike castro or downtown.

Hope this helps

I know that if we drive to S.F. we would have to spend the night, which wouldnt be a problem. But I'd like to know which would you visit? What's there to do in San Francisco besides chinatown? PLEASE HELP!! We are 2 single girls in our 20's. We only have until tomorrow to decide, so advice/opinions would be much appreciated!!

And another thing, mapquest says it'll take us almost 11 hours to get to San Francisco from Phoenix.. is this true for the most part? Are there any delays we have to take into consideration?

Watch it on 5 if you are driving up to SF, police arnt everywhere, but if you are in the fast lane, and speeding in the middle of nowhere, then your toast. SD is nice, but if you havent been to SF, you dont know what you are missing. SF is going to be hard to do all in a weekend, but good luck
