Maybe China could foot the bill.

In fact you might aswell give back ur boon of a central subway $$$ ,which we could use for our system restorations.... Theres a total of 300 Billion of boon projects proposed in your state , the HSR is not one them.

Looks like the project might hit a brick wall here after all:

An independent panel says California lawmakers should not authorize $2.7 billion in bonds to build the initial section of the state's high-speed rail system.

In a report issued Tuesday, the California High-Speed Rail Peer Review Group said the current plan is not financially feasible.

California's train to nowhere.

It will keep coming back unless that same supporters are tossed out on there collective asses this year.

Starting by tossing out the main culprit in this money grab Cathleen Galgiani Head of the Rail Authority.

Stop her from becoming a State Senator and you lop of the head of the HSR.

Well, it looks like Gov Brown is still firmly in the corner supporting the high speed rail project:

"Look, California is a $2 trillion economy and there are a lot of people who want turn off the lights; I'm not one of them," Brown said. "We're going to build, we're going to invest and California is going to stay up among the great states and political jurisdictions in the world."
