You gonna keep going? I think most of us can pull up the spread sheets or you could just add them as attachments. But fire away gridley if you so desire.

I don't recall discussing that, but no, Hispanic isn't a race. Its not even a culture. Its just a vague categorization of people that originate (culturally), on some level, from Spain and Portugal.

Pretty much the same thing goes for "Asian", though its perhaps not as obvious to a sheltered American. As I said, its amusing because the very way we categorize matters contains elements of racism.... Conceptualize matters differently.....and everything changes.

Anyhow, these projections are meaningless, there is no way to project (long-term) the flow of people, the degree to which people will mix, etc.

Because that's how it's always been......it's called white flight.

It has "always been" that way due to an underlying racism in American society....if that racism goes away old patterns will die with it.

Right, because wanting to live with your own kind is racism. Wanting to raise your children where there is no crime is racism. Wanting to live in a quiet neighborhood where there are no drug dealings going on is racism.

Let's not make this a P&OC discussion, or I'll just move it to that forum and let the "regulars" in P&OC have at it too.
