Just wondering, if you had to pick? Major is sociology. Any private Christian colleges that could be on par with Poly?

Sure. USF and the other Jesuit schools. Cal Poly is strong academically but is better known for engineering and ag than social sciences. If you get a generous aid package from Cal Lutheran that may be the better choice for what you want. Good luck to you.
