What is the best restaurant for BBQ?
Hello all. Where is the best place to go for BBQ, ribs, tri-tip, brisket and such? Looking for a good bbq restaurant to try for dinner. We live near Burbank. Thank-you!

Can't answer your question.
Where are you from (knowing that BBQ is a noun and not a verb)?
I go to Decatur, AL and Huntsville all the time. You talk about BBQ?

but this is the absolute best in Madison/Huntsville, the old Greenbrier

best I have found. Not as sterile as Lucilles but I like the more friendly places. the one thing I HATED about Lucilles was they added the tip to the check with only 4 3 adults and 1 child. I hear they have changed that but I have never returned.

I like Chris and Pitts, but unfortunately, there aren't any in or near Burbank.

There used to be one in Van Nuys (Victory and Fulton), but I think it's gone now.
I haven't been there (yet), but I hear Robin's in Pasadena has great Barbecue.

The best barbecue restaurant in the world is Jockos in Nipomo. This of course would be real barbecue, as in grilled over red oak.

If you live in Burbank, go to Ribs USA on Olive Avenue. They have all the things you're looking for and though it's been awhile since I've eaten there, the food was always pretty damn good.
