My husband was informed last week that we will be transferred to Hanford in approximately 2 months. I have an 18 month old daughter who I like to keep busy with parks, play groups, and the like. I've looked into the school districts there and they seem pretty good based on their standardized test scores. Are they pretty good? I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the area including Visalia, South Fresno, and Hanford with a small child in mind. We currently live in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ but I grew up in the middle of nowhere so direct access to shopping isn't an issue for me. I really just want to know what things there would be for my daughter as well as the quality of the school systems around there.
