Christianity is not a "religion" it is a reality!
California is a reality, it can be touched, evidence for it can be shown. Try that with any superstition.

I once had a religious experience in Platina. It involved Highway 36 and my motorcycle.

The TV coverage of the Pontifex Maximus stepping down is interesting, The "Great Bridge" steps down. Same name as the ancient Roman pagan high priest. Same name, same scam.

You mean you never felt GODS touch??? And you're calling it a "superstition" if I say that I've been touched by HIM??? Just because YOU can't see it/smell it/touch, etc... doesn't mean I/ lots of people can't.
I believe in the facts of 1 Creator. I choose to call that Creator GOD. I believe GOD has ALL the answers to my questions and has left the answers for me hidden away until such time as HE sees fit for me to find them. HE will answer my questions as HE feels with a plethora of variables: a person/tree/motorcycle/dog etc... and I just have to have let/break down my own walls built from life's experiences and listen for the answers.
I do not claim to be knowledgeable, as I've seen you people to be, in the likes of theocracy and such.
I'm just 1 grain of sand trying to find the answers to my puny questions in a big 'ol universe.

highnlite, do you have faith in anything???
faith=reality=California=Sacramento River=salmon=blu sky=boats=good eats=GOD etc,...

Hope everybody has a great day!

Oh! If anybody has anything to critique on my posts I would rather you found somewhere/one else to critique as this is just a learning tool for me and I don't need the negative energy from your posts, please. Doctors orders as of yesterday. My intentions are not to "stuff down your throats" my personal beliefs and not to offend any religion as I believe GOD gave each of us free will to believe in what we want. I have no problem if you want to pray to the prince of darkness himself or a piece of driftwood you found in SF Bay in the 60's. Live & let. I just wanted some info on how to help WerternPilgrim is all. I have excess and I feel he could use it.

My wife and I admire those who live life simply/humble. We are trying to do that ourselves and have a lot to offer any place that would allow us to. If anyone has a ranch that they need protected or some property that needs some work we're looking for a place. We would rather help people than just become campground hosts! haha
Also, looking to purchase 24ft trailer. to buy/trade/barter. This is my first "public forum" that I've been a part of haha but am wise in many things. Thanks for your time!

And many here would rather you take the advice given in the post quoted previously ... which you seem to have overlooked in your zealousness. Here, I'll re-quote it for you:

"Belief in God? An afterlife? I believe in rock: this apodictic rock beneath my feet.

Belief in the supernatural reflects a failure of the imagination.

Belief? What do I believe in? I believe in sun. In rock. In the dogma of the sun and the doctrine of the rock. I believe in blood, fire, woman, rivers, eagles, storm, drums, flutes, banjos, and broom-tailed horses..."

Thanks, but my 2007 DL650 only has 56,000 miles on it, so it's barely broken in. I think I'll hang on to it for a while.
