Never heard of it, and it didn't show up on my "Marketplace". And ..... what is iOS?

iOS is the operating system for the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. Waze, I see, like the majority of apps worth having is only on Apple products.

I Googled it and they have Waze for Android, but there doesn't appear to be any "groups" here in the Coachella Valley. Also I read some of the blogs and apparently the maps for the Coachella Valley are incorrect. It looks like Waze is a network of people who share traffic information with each other. What I am/was looking for is an app where official information is disseminated to the public from some source like the CHP or whoever, or whatever agency it is that puts information on those electronic signs. Something reliable and "official", I guess. We don't have anything like that here.
