The smell of the ocean on my beach blanket days later.

Hearing children play outside 11 months out of the year.

Driving down PCH on a Sunday to see all the vintage cars driving by.

Catching a movie on the waterfront.

The farmers' market with an ocean view.

Random trips to Catalina Island just because we had nothing else to do. (Such a rough life.)

Oh, and smores on the beach fire pits (we don't have those in MD, NJ, or DE!).

Soon enough, I will be back and will have all of the above!
-The residual beach smell on the towel, and of old Coppertone.

-Farmers market on a weekend in January, knowing that produce was picked that week.

OMG. I do remember the Greeter and almost hitting him Bhahahah. He was such a character, scary in a way, but very friendly. I recall going to the Sawdust festival one late afternoon and getting a whiff of this horrible perfume and right around the corner was ZAA ZAA Gabor and her escort. I can still taste it.

Looks like what ever you have on that gas grill has sauce, two don'ts, no gas (for anything barbecued, ever, life is too short for a gas grill)

I remember as a teenager going to Hollywood to attend the Teenage Fair during the Summer. You got to see up close and personal most of the big named music groups and performers and I remember having a picture taken with the Model "Twiggy." I'll need to find that!!

I also remember seeing "Hair" at the Aquarius Theater.

That's an offset firebox smoker. Not gas, and not really a grill. Also, be prepared for bloodshed for suggesting sauce is not a necessary component of BBC. Its usually a question of not if, but when and what to apply.

"Best rib joint I know of is my backyard "

Well if one Angry Taxpayer and Highlite have the best ribs in their backyards it seems aa good time to have a RIB Throwdown!!!

Of course, a neutral backyard is in order,,,,Any location suggestions?

Gets ready with handwipes and lots of napkins!
