Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.—Albert Einstein

A human being is part of a whole, called by us the "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest—a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.—Albert Einstein

Its amusing that people think a simple quote....provides justification for they wish to believe. - user_id

Yes. That is the question I posed when you first appeared on this thread -- albeit rhetorically. I have asked you to answer this very question several times in the past. And in your not answering lies the answer. It is as I said: you do this for no other reason than to derive pleasure from ridiculing others. Your posts, of all kinds on all topics, always carry the same condescending tone of ridicule. You clearly like to think of yourself as a superior being and yet you find it necessary to validate your desire to feel superior by engaging in dialogue with those you wish to consider inferior. This clearly illuminates you and your m.o.

You have never once, in all the posts I have read, over several YEARS (and you have posted over 9,000 times), asked real questions seeking real information -- only rhetorical scoldings. Obviously you don't believe that anyone you engage with can rise to your level of intelligence and understandings of the universe. So why DO you continue to engage?

As I said: to gain pleasure from ridicule. Nevermind that you sometimes speak clearly on some issues -- but also often cite gibberish that you have convinced yourself is logical and unassailable scientifically, when such is not the case. Yes, I can cite -- and have in the past as have many others. It makes no difference. You simply redefine your statements and proceed to ridicule anew. A most remarkably clear picture of severe neurosis.

But he will never go away folks. Even if one ignores him he comes back with his insults. So ignore him anyway. Ta, user.

Ignoring has worked wonderfully for me, especially after I discovered the "hide user" feature (and also discovered who deserved to be on that list).
