Well now what? No ones ever really apologized before.

Shall we have tea and scones or something?

Nope, I'll just be on my way back to East Coast threads. Sorry for any inconvenience (or entertainment) or offense, I really didn't mean what I said in a negative way about every Californian. Even my friends, who I was talking about primarily, are still my friends so clearly I don't despise them and their little quirks.

If I have any questions about my upcoming CA trip this summer I'll return to the California forum and ask you guys.

Yes, of course the redwoods. And we were also considering wine country, which if I'm not mistaken is not too far north from SF. But we have two weeks only and we're driving down to LA, planning to make little stops along the way so I really don't know if we'll have time! I wish I could do it all, I really do. Thanks for the advice
Oh, so you're driving south to LA. Then you can stop for lunch maybe, and take in a stroll through some of the redwood parks that are along the road going down the coast. Check out north and south of Santa Cruz, among other options. But you can do Muir Woods the same day you check out wine country.

There's some kind of gymnastics school for girls in Cape May, and they put together some dance and gymnastics routines for the show that were really impressive!

If I have only one tip, this is it: when driving south, resist the temptation to save time by taking the 5. Words fail the central coast.

Yes, driving south SF to LA. Thanks for the options, we'll figure it out! I'll look into what you suggested.

And wow that video was incredible! What amazing girls.

Yes, one of my friends told me this, as well. She said the 5 is awful. I think we're going to drive straight along the coast, not sure which highway that is though. Thanks!

That's Highway 1 for the coastal view.

I-5 isn't necessarily awful, it's just not very scenic. You will enjoy the drive on 101 from San Francisco and then onto Hwy 1 when you reach Southern CA. Plenty of beautiful places to stop along the way. If you're not in a hurry, that's the way to go. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah, it not necessarily awful. Then again, its most attractive feature is it's being the shortest distance between two points. And Andersen's Split Pea Soup.

Hmm! Hate to point out the obvious but there are probably a whole bunch of non-governors/polticians who would like to feel them up too.

When I was single I wouldn't have minded doing so; but only with their consent/cooperation.
