California out of reach? Not for this 9-year-old entrepreneur from E. L.A.
Short article in Forbes Magazine tells the story ...
10 minute YouTube film will be your best 10 minutes this week ...

Surprised this earthshaking story wasn't posted by Montclair. Along with news of California's record potato crop.

Oh ya!!!

Thanks Null..

Kudos to the dude that brought it forward and saw it for what it is.......

In the stormy sea of angry shallow people either clutching to their belongings or begging for handouts, an island appears, a nurturing father, a child that has not had their innocence and creativity knocked out of them by the stormy sea of society.

This really gets to the crux of it for me... In a huge huge way...

Where to take this? Exploring how society steals confidence from our youth, setting them up to be followers and not leaders?

Or exploring how the industrial revolution and the move away from family owned business, has stifled the entrepreneurial spirit in our youth?

Well, you got it :

Great story. Great kid. Great dad. Great film-maker / first customer. Great responding public. Great event. Doesn't matter if the kid ever becomes a billionaire (better if he doesn't) or just goes on to run his dad's wrecking yard. And, most importantly, it clearly won't matter to that kid if he doesn't become a billionaire -- he's in whatever he does just for the doing.

And that's what it's all about.
And anybody can do that anywhere -- even with no resources.
Lesson from the kid to everybody.

Yep...
It is a mindset.... Either you have it or you do not... Here on CD we have many moaning and growing about politicians, immigrants, religion, gangs no jobs, cost of living on and on and on and on......

IMO they miss the whole point... It will go over the head of the ones who choose to be oppressed, by their beliefs...

It saddens me...

I am often lagging behind on "current news".......

I usually figure out some one important died, when I see the flag at half mast at the post office.... My family knows to call me and tell me news if they think it will effect me... Like 911, I was ready to go to the airport that morning heading out the door... till "ring ring"... Ah... turn on the news...

Heck did not know when Princess Dianna died for months...

The story is timeless, really ... two weeks, two years, two hundred years ... what's the difference ... this isn't current events ... this is about the human spirit.
