Cahatch..my hubby has been looking around Turlock..are you listed yet? He said he liked the area...we are also considering renting a house for a year before we buy ... know of anyone renting--if you're house is listed let us know---buying is not out of the question....can you tell us of desirable neighborhoods? My daughter from San Diego and my son from Menlo Park were out to visit my hubby- said it was very nice out there -that I would like it. I can't wait to come out and see the areas myself. For all you residents out there, I have heard positives! My place is still for sale-having an open house today. So...if anyone in Turlock knows of desirable communities to live in..or in Modesto..Ripon..please feel free to drop a line!! Thanks and stay dry

I needed to borrow your name.. we just got home from Spokane last night... LOTS of snow... LOL whew.. this cali girl got quite the eyeopenr! heehee was so pretty though and they say it was a fluke thing... this is rare... but here we are back in Turdlock.. LOL
haven't listed our home.. when we do I will let you know.... prob in March... we live out by the college... nice area very nice :-P

Snogirl.. we are headed back to Spokane tomorrow! hoping we don't get snowed in again... :P we shall see.. actually snow sounds like a nice change... even buried like it was last week.. it was nice for a change.. we never get any rain even... although it did rain the whole time we were up north... DH has lived in snow all of his life... said the only place he got real tired of it was South Dakota... BLIZZARDS... all that snow last week has been unusual for Spokane.. or so they tell us.. :P

Have a great time! We will be having another storm starting tonight-they say we will have heavy snow again. It rained yesterday with temps reaching 37--some melted-but we will be replenished with mounds of snow by tomorrow night!

Hi Snogirl... posted to you in another thread. so when ya coming??? haven't listed our home yet.. gotta find a realtor... SOON... it's a daunting task! we are considering renting... or letting youngest DS rent til it sells... of course he wouldn't be able to rent at the cost we need... but we know he will keep it up for showing... heyyyyy the neighbors just got evicted.. that one will be for rent soon!! smaller than our house... no stairs.... maybe we better meet up for lunch somewhere when ya come... we found the perfect home in WA... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I want it! buy our home.. come on.. we live in a great neighborhood! near a park.. you could walk your dog... heehee close to lots of shopping....
heading to northern ca tomorrow with hubby... Redding area... won't be around in this forum for a couple of days... have a safe trip out here.. the weather is great right now...
