THe water towner is the City's territory, not the school baord. The city does nothing that I can see to put education first. The City and the school baord do not even get along.
I suggested to some council memebrs that if they want people to stop laughing at the water tower it should say "It is not as bad as you think"
They did not seem to like that idea.
Anyway I have heard Santa Ana referres to as Santa's Anus.
However that is not a fitting name. It really is not as bad as you think. Kind of a cool town in many ways.
Orange as "For Change?" (i.e. people asking for change); Yorba Linda as Slobby Linda (or something like that), also snob a linda (which is kind of dumb considering it is far from snobby compared to other nearby locations). Anaheim "Anaslime" Newport Beach was "New Bought B**ch", Laguna was called a term that you cannot use that references the nasty term for the population that Laguna is known for by changing the first letter. Irvine "we're swine" "Republic of Irvine." Huntington Beach "humping my B****" I think there is a nasty name for pretty much every city.
Most of the nicknames are dumb, but some of them are kind of funny.
