I have demonstrated that pretty much all you say has gone wrong with California either hasn't, or is also true of many other places.

It's election day in California. I'm puzzled as to why it's reported only 35% of the state's registered voters are voting especially when the current rate of approval for the California Assembly is 9%.
If people don't like what's happening in Sacramento, why don't they vote to change it? Is it just easier to complain about it or leave the state altogether?
