Yep, and it wasn't rocket science to see that many EU members were heading to this fate years ago. It was only the usual deniers who didn't want to admit it was coming. Every year the usual deniers on this board deny the very same trend California is on. It's a cycle ofc and a bunch of companies who depend on manipulating people, selling their data, and advertisement dollars going to an ever more broke populous are going save the state.

What a coward! It appears Jerry’s goons are now deleting any comments regarding his YouTube address that don’t appear to be licking the boots.

As usual, California is out in the open disclosing its dirty laundry while other states hide theirs. Just wait a bit for the news of other state's deficits...

Anyhow, the real estate bubble blew a whole in California's economy, the federal government should be pumping money into California....but instead the primary start-up engine in the US economy is going to be forced into austerity to move that "liberal policies are bad".

I have been warning of the border problem for many many many long years. Few realize the damage the Canadians are subjecting us to ...

I guess that means it's gone, kaput, evaporated; the entire economy of CA no longer exists.

WOW! That IS serious.

I think the fact that Brown made the Youtube video instead of a press conference speaks volumes ... No questions to address...

As usual? The only reason the news is so public is that Brown is desperately trying to get voters to approve tax increases. This has nothing to do with some innate openness of government. It is PR. I think it is smart, though I have my doubts it will work. Brown's previous pleas seem to have been failures.
