This is an old thread. Who ya talkin' to?

Some are simply just tired of the traffic and big government that plagues California.

Living in the IE is terrible, Las Vegas and even Phoenix are far better options for QOL.

Why is IE terrible?? Maybe some areas are but that is the case anywhere. I love the IE cause we are close to LA, beaches, Mountain, etc. I moved to LV for a few years but couldn't take the weather. Too cold in winter and too hot in summer. At least the western part of the IE is the best of all worlds. I live in Upland so can't speak for the far eastern edges of the IE.

Lived there for 9 years and while I hated driving anywhere out of the IE and a few places in it, I much prefer it to living in LV, which I have also done. I prefer OC where I lived for many years, but cost is a bigger issue now than it was then and the traffic is terrible in OC.

The I.E. is not far enough from L.A. Blackout rules still apply. I want to watch Dodger games.

Agreed- except the hunting as I don't hunt But I agree If I didn't care for the Ocean then heck I wouldn't mind the IE, maybe even Phoenix or Las Vegas instead for affordability and job reasons. Although I love visiting Las Vegas too much so probably not there since living there would ruin it for me. The beach in California personally is a huge draw for me.

I used to say I'm never leaving Southern California since it's my home, but the politics and taxes have changed my mind. I most likely would end up moving to Arizona or Nevada.
