A bankruptcy filing by Stockton is a "high-probability event," Gregory Lipitz, a vice president and senior analyst at Moody's, said on Monday

However if Detroit goes Chapter 9 Stockton won't remain the largest failure for long.

It is happening. No bailout. Everything now will be decided by a Federal Bankruptcy Judge. Oh you should have heard the sob stories from some of our whiniest Stocktonians last night during the public comment session, most of them former public employees. The gravy train is over blood suckers.
