Hello,

My wife and I are moving to South Lake Tahoe in a few months. We're taking a house-hunting trip this weekend. Can anyone help shed light on the following areas?

Tahoe Paradise (Meyers) - seems like a nice spot close to the trails. Looks like its mostly older houses though.

North Upper Truckee - some newer houses. Can anyone comment on how it looks post Angora fire? Has it recovered at all?

Christmas valley - Seems like highway noise might be a problem. Also, living in a north-south oriented canyon might limit sunlight during the early/late hours.

Any local insight on the real estate market?

Thank you for your help.
