Who was here first? The Indians, the Spanish, or the Americans? I often times find it humorous that people claim that CA belongs to Mexico. If CA belongs to anyone, it belongs to the Native Americans who lived here for many thousands of years before the Spanish or Americans.

Through war the United States of America took the West Coast, including CA which rightfully belonged to them. It was won fair and square. This lingering argument that CA belongs to Mexico is completely absurd. Mexico lost the war, they need to accept this fact. Look at history, defeated countries just have to accept that they were defeated and live with the consequences.

CA is not a part of Mexico, and will never again be!

That just a country thing, or does that sort of outlook extend to individuals? Groups? Companies? The Lakers? Disgruntled posters?

Why would "La Raza" want CA to become apart of Mexico? It's not like the economy of CA is going to stay with a Mexican takeover. Then you'd start seeing Mexican nationals from the "new CA" crossing the border into Arizona/Nevada/Oregon for a better life.

I think OP means the U.S. has the land temporarily but if someone else takes it away, it rightfully belongs to them. Just like we acknowledged Kuwait belonged to Iraq? But, more importantly, OP is just making an anti-Mexico rant. As though saying California (well, Alta California) won't be part of Mexico again is something profound.

You do know that true Mexicans were indigenous /native american people that lived in CA right?

Even now, not all Mexicans are mixed with Spanish blood and even if they are mixed, they are still native people who's ancestors were conquered and raped.

Mexico didn't become a country until after their independence from Spain.
