I searched in vain to find good ice creams in the grocers' freezers, but never could find any. Breyers, Dreyers, tasteless. The most tasteful that I ever found was the Thriftys brand. Now all of those ice cream cones have more than doubled in price! Are there any flavorful ice creams that taste similar to Blue Bell?

There must be Ben & Jerry's, at least. Where are you in CA? Here and there you can find little neighborhood ice creameries that make their own, and it's really good.

What the hell is Blue Bell? You're in Texas, so I won't bother telling you about Handel's. Your loss.

I normally buy haagen-dazs or B&J's. Strawberry haagen-dazs is delicious.

Thrifty peach ice cream is quite good. Stater bros brand is also good. My favorites are rocky road & cherry vanilla. Its real ice cream. Worlds fair ice cream is trash. Its sold at save-a-lot.
