Well actually, ZeroGeo, I've run out of cardio machines in this house, and am getting sleepy, anyway... (cardio time is playing on the computer time). So I'm not going to look up Steve Sailer's state-by-state IQ score list. But if I remember correctly, California is second from the bottom. I'm sure a quick google will take you to the Least Educated list. And Joe Guzzardi's articles are a quick google away. The ones for VDare are probably the best.

Have I ever said Conservatives prefer belief to fact? Every once in a while we get a post from darkest Arkansa (or Oregon) that confirms my contention.

There are 62 colleges in Mississippi

There are 399 colleges in California

There are 51 colleges in Oregon,
so it appears likely that Mississippi is smarter than Oregon

Meanwhile:

■% of Mississippi Students Above Basic > Grade 8 Reading……60% (48 of 51)... Tied with California for third from last place just above Hawaii, and the District of Columbia. North Dakota is number 1 at 83%

■% of Mississippi Students Above Basic > Grade 8 Science……42% (36 of 38)... Third from last just above California and Hawaii. Montana is number 1 at 80%.
