Yes. Moved to *Hell*, and nine months later I moved back to CA. Would NEVER move out of CA again - even if someone held a gun to my head and repeatedly pulled the trigger, like Russian Roulette!

LOL! You and I sound alike. We also moved to "Hell" in Nashville Tennessee and it took us 4 very long years to get out of there and move back to California. We will never move out of CA again either.....even if SEVERAL GUNS were held to my head and repeatedly was pulling the trigger!

**** you guys. You guys can move to basically any climate you want. You want snow? Move north, you want beaches move south, you want some snow but also mild move somewhere like Colorado.

Being Canadian its like......Do I want not as cold as my city? Move to Toronto or Vancouver so instead of -30 its only -10. ****

I don't know where I read (or heard) this (and forgive me in advance, I am a horrible story teller) but basically you can have a nice big house in the middle of nowhere, but you are still in the middle of nowhere.

That's exactly how I feel when people tell me about the great buys to be had in the Midwest and other places in the country. But, I still think be it ever so humble there is no place like home (California).

You know the rest of the country has cities and suburbs, right? No need to be in the middle of nowhere.
