Hello im so sorry I know im in the wrong posting but im new and it didnt allow me to post a new thread. If anyone sees this and knows or can help please message me. Here is my situation. Im working less than 40 hr a week I filed for unemployment about
2 months ago they told me I would be making 137 a week (i work 5 hours a day) 9/hr. The first week I stated 400 for 2 weeks but later was denied anything due to too much money. Then I stated 135 for a week and said their sending me 57 dollars for this. Im just so frustrated and confused. My co worker told me about this he works the same amount of hours yet edd is compensating him 200 dollars more. Am I doing something wrong?

I am a new member and haven't figured out yet how to start a new thread, thus I am posting my questions here in hope to receive an answer.
I have been receiving $450 weekly UB in CA since the end of Jan, 2012. I might be offered a two week out-of-state teaching project for $3,500 for which I would have received a 1099 at the end of the year. If I do and accept it, what will happen to my UB? Will I lose them, will I have to file a new claim, etc? I have spent all day today trying to reach a live person on the EDD phone line to no avail. Thank you in advance for you help.
