I live in the foothills and we are reminded each year to have our defensible circle around our homes.
Only a fool would leave the brush near their home, but we do have plenty of brush and fools.

Well, with only your "two suitcases" of life possessions -- plus two pups ... one might assume you'd rush in to save the pups and not the mini-pile of laundry ... I'd call that minimalist ...  |

Lol You've got me pegged for sure. I've been through many natural disasters. The only things I've ever grabbed were the animals, and if I had time, the family photos and my purse. |
