Default Plymouth Breeze 1999 model will it be ok to move from NJ to CA?

I have a 1999 Plymouth Breeze car and it recently passed the NJ inspection.
The is good. I am moving to California. I have heard that CA emission control etc is different then NJ. If I move my car, will it fail there? If anybody can share any insight or have experienced any issue. please share it. I don't want to spend money in moving the car; only to know there that I can't drive the car as it has failed some DMV test.

. is there a forum or place where I can ask for such an info?

Any early reply will be highly appreciated

You should have no problem smogging your car in CA if it passed NJ. As long as you dont have a check engine light and your emmision readings are within spec. I would take a look at your NJ smog check #'s and call a CA smog referee and ask him if your numbers are within spec. I hope this helps
