Where is "GreatBasinGuide"?? He lives in Trukee and has a home for sale.
Thinking of it, I haven't seen any posts from him lately. Anyone know what he is up to?

Hi. I did a search for greatbasinguide. He's still around. He last posted on 3/06/08, on the Nevada Forum. He now lives on the CA coast. He's a great person to post to. His knowledge of differant locals is amazing. Stay safe, skitow.

Truckee has the coldest average temp in the nation because it is chilly at night in the summer. But it is not cold here. I can assure you. It is sunny most days. And even when it snows it isn't the biting cold of other places. It is cold at night. In the summers its in the 80s and beautiful.

If you have any questions let me know!

Hi. I was born and raised in Truckee, ca. 25 years and still going. raised in the subdivision glenshire. It was a nice place to grow up in back then but now its turning into rich, stuck up, 2nd home owners, and tourists. Most locals have fled the town because they are sick of the cockiness. Nice place to raise kids, but can have a bad drug scene. I think once the out of towners realize how much they are ruining things and go back to where they came from, we can all enjoy our peaceful town. By the way, in the summer you can do gardening, most residents have very beautiful gardens. In the winter it gets quite cold but you get used to it. Now can we please get rid of the tourists?!
