Default Need help with commute times from Arcadia area

Hi!
My wife is going to be taking classes at Azusa Pacific next year. From what I’ve read in these forums, we are probably going to rent in Arcadia (or thereabouts) until she finishes school.
We have lived in Ca previously, but not in this area. I have a while to find a job, but I need help with commute times. My possible locations for employment are (roughly) Woodland Hills, Irvine or Torrance.
If anyone could give me commute times to these cities it would be a great help.

PS we’re excited to be coming back!

Thanks!

If you can flex to 6-230 or 3 you can beat most traffic to/from Woodland Hills, or maybe 40-45 minutes one way. The other two would be worse. If you are working 8-5, it will be pretty bad, like an hour and a half one way.

Check this out.

prettymuch nailed it. Torrance or Irvine are quite a commute from Arcadia. If you decide on Irvine maybe move a little further East and South. Maybe Brea or Fullerton. her commute to APU won't be bad as its against traffic and its not too bad to Irvine
