So what do you say? We already have some of the toughest laws in the nation, do we really need this as well?

Quote:
A California state senator who introduced a bill to tighten the state's gun control has received a flood of racist calls and letters in response.

With Senate Bill 249, Sen. Leland Yee (D-San Francisco) is trying to close a loophole in one of the California gun control laws, which already includes some of the toughest restrictions in the nation.

Considering the two clowns cited, Yee and Steinberg, this knee-jerk (called a "JERK" for a reason) reaction should surprise no one.

Bad idea, take millions of people and make them instant felons. Plus, no compensation for a firearm that costs over a grand?

Leland Yee is always good for some laughs. I guess he's given up his crusade against the REALLY tough issues facing Californians like shark fin soup and violent video games. Too bad he didn't get elected mayor of SF. I would have been able to enjoy the show safely from Oakland.

Stop SB249 and Stop Leland Yee. ****ing nut jobs this guy Lee, Steinburg and Kamela Harris, IMO.

Here is a Fact Sheet on SB249.

http://stopsb249.org/wp-content/uplo...act_sheet1.pdf

One of many things the article doesnt tell you is that versions 1-3 of this bill have already been defeated before it made it out of committee. This is version 4. With the Aurora and Wisconsin shootings the Communists like Yee who want to turn this country into socialist nations like England and Japan are doubling down.

Marxist pigs like Yee rub their hands together in anticipation whenever mass shootings happen in this country.

Obviously a bill written by someone with no knowledge of firearms, or even CA firearm laws.
If we just enforced the current laws we would all have a safer state. A criminal does not care if his/her firearm is a CA legal weapon.

Funny that they all try to pass new laws in CA when these atrocities are happening in other states.
